Hotel Oberoi Wildflower Hall

Overview

Perched high atop the Himalayas at an 8, 250 feet above sea level, the Hotel Oberoi Wildflower Hall Shimla offers a true Himalayan getaway in the middle of 22 acres of virgin woods of pine and cedar. Cut away from the world at large, guests are at peace and can truly relax in the scenic surroundings, pampered by the services of the attentive staff and a personal butler in an ambience of sheer indulgence.

Originally, the residence of Lord Kitchener, the hotel retains its resemblance to a grand English manor from outside. Inside, while the rooms retain the old-world charm of the manor, the public spaces have undergone transformation into exotic getaways in the heart of the Himalayas.

81 guest rooms and 4 suites make up the accommodation section of the hotel; each room and suite offers exquisite views and a lavish space adorned with the finest of 19th Century furnishings, colourful hand-woven rugs and teakwood flooring.

For dining, guests enjoy a choice of fine dining at the onsite multi-cuisine restaurant, an alternative private dining venue and an onsite bar. Guests can also request special dinners at the onsite gazebo.

Enjoy the mesmerizing experience of relaxing in the temperature-controlled outdoor Jacuzzi that is almost at level with the treetops; sunbathe at the sundeck; refresh yourself with a swim in the adjoining indoor heated swimming pool and rejuvenate your senses with a spa session at the onsite spa. Private Spa suites or pavilions ensconced in a dense cedar forest offering spectacular vistas of the majestic snow peaks offer special experiences.

Other facilities include Sauna, Tennis Court, Billiards Room, a Pillow Menu and an Ice Skating rink in winters.
